FOOD
The food in Sarawak are unique in its own way. Plenty of delicacies are served here from various sources. And because the majority of the people here are non-Muslims and Chinese, the servings of pork is various.
Nevertheless, Halal food are still served plenty. One of the most popular dish is the Mee Kolok, consist of yellow noodle ans soup topped with either chicken, beef or pork, it is one of the most famous dish in Sarawak and all restaurants serves them.
Food stalls can be located all around UNIMAS, from the front to the back. Students have access to multiple cafes around UNIMAS, some of them being Cafe BRC, Cafe Cempaka, Cafe Kuning, Merah or Biru Alamanda and etc. Students are also give the privilege to dine outside of UNIMAS. A tom-yam restaurant is located at UNI SQUARE, directly across the West gate of UNIMAS, and on the East gate, there's a shopping mall with multiple fast food joints such as Big Apple, KFC, Sushi King, Secret Recipe and etc. So students would not have any problem when in regards to food hunting.
Exotic food can be found at The Cultural Village, such as fried worms, grasshopper and etc.
