Transports are very easy to come by for students in UNIMAS. And as for parents, car rental services are everywhere. Just be sure to find the right website for it.

Even students prefer to rent out cars especially when they have to go somewhere far away and in a long period of time rather than taking the Uber, which is expensive.

Students are given the options to rent cars, take the bus, or take Grab/Uber. 

Students usually travel in UNIMAS using the bus UNIMAS has provided. But sometimes the schedule of the bus is quite inconvenient for some students.Therefore, they resort to taking taxis (GRAB/Uber) within the compounds of UNIMAS. Walking to faculties can take up to 30 minutes because of the distance. and the fare for taxis in UNIMAS are fair ably cheap,in the range of RM3.00 to RM6.00.  Other than that, there is a public bus going around in UNIMAS and transport students who lives outside of the campus. It cost students RM1.00 normally.

As for students who have been here long and that lives outside of the campus, The majority of them have their own cars. and some even provide transport service in hopes of gaining more cash.

In order to have a car that can be driven within campus compounds, one must register the car number to the office and pay for the sticker pass. That way, you could avoid being sues by the patrolling police around campus. Other than cars, students also ride motorcycles to class. And the same procedure needs to be gone through, just as cars are.
